Verin lurks in the shadows of the throne that Stasia sits upon, biding her time and protecting her older sister. She does not yearn so much for power, as to be seen as the equal to her older sister in power, prestige and rank.

Beyond the expected standard abilities belonging to all Sanguine, like super strength, speed, senses and the like, as Verin falls from the Dimea line of Sanguine in particular, her blood is richly immersed in the madness and mandatory darkness of her line.
Unlike her older sister, Verin's blood when consumed compels the person who has consumed it to do her bidding for a time, it can also repel and reverse any of the damage caused by consuming the blood of Stasia, although this is something that has never happened for Verin has never allowed anyone to be saved from the dangerous vortex that Stasia's blood wrought in the veins of other living creatures.
