“How could you possibly be so fucking incompetent and yet so oblivious to your own failures at the same time?! A marvel of stupidity! A curse to the senses to even know your presence is nearby!” Eva couldn’t manage to fluster the man enough. How could simply bumping into someone cause such a flare of aggression and anger? Well because it was Evagelyne of course. By now most people in the area, perhaps even the entire city, knew that it was best to stay out of her way and yet of course a simple mistake wouldn’t go unchecked. “You should be glad I don’t take your eyes as compensation for the annoyance you’ve caused me. Putain de déchet. Reste en dehors de mon foutu chemin à partir de maintenant ou je m'assurerai que tu n'arrives plus à ennuyer quelqu'un d'autre.”
(Fucking piece of trash. Stay out of my damn way from now on or I will make sure you don't manage to annoy anyone else again.)
“I’m very sorry ma’am, but I don’t understand.”
“Uncultured bitch, just stay the hell out of my-”, she paused when a loud sound caught her attention. Her eyes quickly darting around as if to find the perpetrator and yet there was nothing… or at least that was what she had initially thought. For the slightest moment someone managed to catch her eye but just as they did they were out of sight. There was nothing special about them from what could be seen initially yet something about it made her curious. She turned her attention back to the target and gazed over his pathetic scenario. “Hmph! Just stay out of my way.”
Something was of. She couldn’t shake the feeling from her head that something wasn’t the same as before. Normally there was no need to hold onto thought of this nature as it was a constant occurrence in her current line of ‘work’, but Today just felt far more odd than usual. The weather was as terrible as always. Same as all the people she saw while out in the crappy open air during the day. She could almost taste the annoyances from those around her in the air and yet it wasn’t proving to get her mind free from the urges to continue thinking.
What is going on with me? I feel as if something is tugging at me but with invisible strings. Not that its an unfamiliar feelings but more like it is stronger than before. Maybe its desire? I have been wanting to get back in the bed ever since I woke up. This is a damned nuisance.
“Hey, Eva, are you alright? You’re normally more talkative than this.” The person she sat with asked at an attempt to garner her attention and to his dismay that was exactly what he obtained. The sharp glare enough to tear through the air and slice him clean in half. The way she positioned her mouth with a snap of her tongue and a flash of her canines a sign of impending doom.
“Occupez-vous de vos affaires, vous grognez! La seule raison pour laquelle je suis ici, c'est parce que ton connard de patron a décidé que je devrais être viré pour avoir bien fait mon travail, mais il avait trop peur de me laisser seul! La seule raison pour laquelle je suis ici c'est pour être payé et rien de plus, donc si je ne parle pas, tu devrais fermer ta putain de gueule et laisser faire!”
(Mind your own business you damn grunt. The only reason I'm here is because your fuckboy of a boss decided that I should be fired for doing my job right but was too scared to leave me on my own. The only reason I'm here is to be paid and nothing more, so if I don't speak then you should shut your fucking mouth and let it be.)
“Jesus Christ, alright. No need to get angry with me. I’m just concerned is all.” He spoke as they continued driving to their destination. “I know you’re not a fan of your current position with us but I’d at least like to make sure you’re in a good condition.”
“I’m fine. Can you just drive so I can get this over with and go home?”
“I’m serious. You were never the happiest person before but I’d at least be able to rest easy if you’d talk to me a bit more about your own problems.”
“My problems? My problems are people, specifically those who try to get me involved in their business or involve themselves in my own so unless you want to start a problem then shut up… and drive.”
What an annoying day. More annoying than she had anticipated! The police had her interrogate a bunch of idiots for information, some dick bumped into her and started the day off from the very lowest score and to top it all of she couldn’t shake the nagging feeling in the back of her head. Irritants all around and not a single escape in sight that didn’t involve the comfort and quiet of her own home. Then again it wasn’t as if everything that existed didn’t have that effect on her. She’d no doubt blame Jayhe for that as well. It was only made far worse the moment she stepped from the taxi she took home and without a second though pulled the payment from her pocket and tossed it in his face. He didn’t even bother saying anything or getting angry as this wasn’t his first time dealing with the order claimant, but he didn’t know that. All he saw was an overly aggressive girl with a temper that could burn through steel.
As she approached the entrance to her home she couldn’t help but notice lights which weren’t always used in windows that would almost always go unnoticed. Could someone have moved in? I thought that place belonged to someone… no matter. So long as they stay out of my way and don’t bother me then everything will be perfectly fine.
Of course, however, the moment she opened the door to her home the vibrations of her phone caused her to scramble for the small device with a newly formed frown on her face. Only one person ever called her on the phone aside from Nier and her uncle never called this late at night, instead spending his time entertaining Chaemai. That would leave only one other person willing to disturb her right at the end of the day when she would normally have time to herself. Fucking Gahbreal. She didn’t even bother looking to see before answering and raising the device to her ear.
“What the hell do you want from me Gahbreal? I told you not to call me-”
“Unless it’s important, I know. That’s precisely why I’m callin’ you right now.” He started, which was enough to catch her attention. She believed if it were important then something was horribly wrong and with that in mind she was prepared for the worst. “Are you calm? Well fed? Did you have a good day?”
“Dad, just tell me what’s wrong. I don’t have time for your bullshit tonight and I’d like to get some sleep if possible. If that’s not evidence enough, no, I didn’t have a good day and you’re not making it any better!”
“Well shit.” He started with a shuffling in the background as if he were moving very quickly. “Um, alright. Well I’m pretty busy myself so I ain’t gonna take up a lot of your time. I’m sure you’ve noticed your new neighbor. Well I have to request that you not disturb them under any circumstances. Aside from them.. hold on.” He paused for a moment and the sound of tearing and splattering could be heard in the background before he could be heard again. “That was fuckin’ stupid. Damned idiot. Well anyway, it’s for your own safety. They aren’t to be messed around with and they can and will defend them self if you pose a threat so try to be calm and nice.”
“Excuse me?” The wolf could hear her audible anger rising through the sound of her voice. “I don’t give the slightest tolerable fuck who are what is where or how! I’m not going to change my daily schedule for some asshole I don’t even know and I most certainly will not be doing it because you asked me to! For fucks sake! I thought this was something serious and here you are again with more bullshit! I’ll deal with this my fucking self, how about that?!” The order claimant didn’t even bother hanging up the phone, instead throwing it at the nearest wall and watching as it shattered into multiple tiny pieces. “Fuck!” She didn’t even bother putting her shoes or jacket back on, instead rushing out of her home with nothing but socks, a pair of button detail leggings and a white formal blouse with the top few buttons undone. So close to relaxing and yet so far.
As much as she wanted to make an angry impression on her approach she lacked the weight needed to even accomplish that, only causing even more anger the further she ascended the stairs. She didn’t think of what she’d say and even less of what she’d do but… she’d do something! Something had to be done! Her approach to the door was quick and the successive knocks even faster as she waited ‘patiently’ for this new neighbor to answer yet as the door partially opened the face she was met with…
"Do you need something?"
“I… um…” she wanted to get the words out and yet her mind was empty. Why didn’t Gahbreal tell her that he was going to be so cute?! Who even was he?
That’s it! I’ll ask him his name! He looks pretty nervous though. Echowix preserve us, did I cause that?! Oh no, oh no oh no oh no. Did I come off as intimidating? Maybe I should have… wait a minute? What am I flustered for?! Everyone should more than fear my name and this is no different! I will demand he tell me his name and then I will… I will… how long have I been standing here?
Eva looked at him again, she could feel her heart pounding out of control and it was quite unnerving. How often had she ever felt like this? In fact, had she ever been so nervous before? It was different with Verin, with Cyva, they were both easy to speak to and approach regardless of how cute they were. This one on the other hand was in the same category yet something… more.
I have to have him. He must belong to me and no one else! Wait… have I just been?
She slid around the corner, breaking their line of sight and pressing her back against the wall next to his door. Why was she just looking at him like that for so long?! Well, she did that with the others too, but this was different! She didn’t even know this person and yet they smelled oddly familiar yet unfamiliar. Like someone she had met before yet also was meeting for the first time. She pressed her fingers together and calmed herself, shaking her head about and with that her mind was just as at ease as she always kept it… yes… at ease.
“You”, she called him out as she moved to see his face yet again. “Tellement mignon, ah!” She stopped herself and shook her head again. “Fuck! I am Evagelyne. Who are you?” Why did she give her name first?! Maybe coming up here was a mistake.
Gahbreal, that fucking idiot. I swear I’ll kill him for this!

Something about him... it seems so nostalgic. I'm certain I've never met him before.
Why had this turned out so… awkward? There weren’t many things that could leave her flustered, but this situation certainly did feel difficult to manage. It wasn’t as if she’d go as far as to deny the knowledge she had of herself and it was because of this that Eva knew how much she adored all things the claimant would classify as ‘cute’ or ‘adorable’. The problem here was that he was exactly what she was looking for in a manner that was frightening. She could classify him as cuter than Cyva and Verin and those two were at the top of her personal leaderboard!
Then he spoke and for a moment it was surprising. Then again it only made her mind work ever so slightly, more than enough to get past the mentioning of his mother.
“So then you’re Florita’s son? Interesting. Very interesting in fact. I wouldn’t have expected that one to allow their child to stay in the human realm, especially since the ancients aren’t known for their leniency.” It wasn’t meant to be an insult yet the way she worded it was as crass as ever. This time however she happened to catch herself. “Ah, I apologize if I said something insensitive.”
A part of her was anxious that her elder brother was away, ‘taking care of personal business’ as he called it. Eva wasn’t so stupid as to believe that. He rarely ever dressed as well as he did when he went out on these trips for his own personal business. Then again when she was invited in and warned of the plants a part of her desired for his presence. It was easy to forget how dangerous it was around other claimants or whatever this one called himself. All it would take is a strong order to have things go her way and yet with Koven missing that wasn’t an option. However, for some odd reason, she didn’t feel as if he’d be needed.
Maybe I should go back home and relax for the rest of the night. This doesn’t seem like a good idea.
“Thank you, I shall keep that in mind”, she spoke as the woman stepped into his home.
Why she went against her own judgement only the cores knew, but she certainly made sure to keep her eyes locked onto the plants she had been warned about. In a way they were cute and yet from a glance they were clearly dangerous. That became extravagantly clear the moment one of them belched up the remains of that 'someone else' who had been mentioned earlier.
Eva let a slight chuckle slip at Soivan’s comment about his mothers choice of tea. From her experience only few managed to be worth while, most of the others simply serving to have a fancy name and taste like rubbish. Then he spoke again and this time around she took the opportunity to understand him more. This could certainly prove to be an interesting conversation as he was correct about one thing, the name Desvoy was something she had never heard of before but she found no reason to assume he was lying. After all, an ancient having a kid was something she hadn’t heard of before either although she had assumed it was clearly possible.
It was difficult to properly respond and although their cups of hot tea were prepared she could only find herself thinking on what she was told. Had she managed to stumble upon something that would have best been left alone? She was never going to be afraid to fight but if she managed to be backed into a corner she would certainly end up doing something that would cause her to lose all of her current credibility as the Aikekunai of Jayhe’s house. Then again it was because she carried secrets of this caliber that it didn’t phase her as much as it should have. Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to act normal for a change.
She didn’t care for the milk, just added enough sugar to keep the average person running on high for hours. She also found it useless to wait until it cooled off and took her time sipping the beverage whenever it pleased her. The only thing hotter than the tea would manage to be the coffee she always drank. Besides, the smell of the liquid reminded her of the time she spent at her aunt's residence.
“This is good. It reminds me of home”, she uttered under her breath as she sat down on the couch and the plant emerged from Soivan’s cup.
She eyed this anomaly in a manner that suggested concern yet allure. Once again something managed to present itself as cute in her eyes and yet she wouldn’t say it aloud. Instead she would watch as it moved its was up her body. As he explained its desires it became apparent that these plants were more sentient than the woman had originally expected and she would certainly take note of that. Now however it was time she began to respond and ask more questions of her own.
“Well you won’t have anything to worry about with me. Besides, a secret is only valuable when no one knows about it. Then again I wouldn’t want to deal with anyone coming after my life. The void forbid I have to cause any chaos or disorder, my aunt would kill me. As for your name I’ll simply have to take your word for it… I wasn’t expecting you to have siblings however.” She paused for a moment as if thinking of the best question she could pose. “Why exactly did you choose to come to the human realm? Assuming the choice was yours, I mean.”
She smiled ever so slightly and held the cup in her right hand. Upon clearing her left she would offer it to the plant which still clung to heravidly, a gesture of sorts to say it was fine for this new being to proceed. From what her aunt had told them Eva’s mother loved nature and nothing within it more than lotuses; perhaps that was why having the plant wrap itself around her wrist was more pleasant than she originally expected it would be. It almost seemed as if the two of them were holding a conversation at a glance, but would that truly be considered odd amongst people with their backgrounds? That and she couldn’t get over how adorable it was.
His response however was quite the opposite. It didn’t seem like anything good would come of this person becoming the ancient after Florita. Was that not what treasures were for? What kind of discord could this possibly cause amongst the houses and wouldn’t that mean someone from a hybrid house was assuming command of another house? He didn’t even technically have the proper name to replace Florita. He called himself a Sytagen which was certainly an unknown term to her, but that only went to further add to her previous point. However none of that mattered when he mentioned that the title came with being born from two ancients.
“I see. So it isn’t just Florita, but also Novevu. That clears things up a bit. If you were just Florita’s child it would be harder to believe you have a different name. Now however it’s easy to see that your name is just a mix between the two.”
It had been easy to tell he was attempting to keep something from her until now and for the average person it would certainly come as a great shock to hear this information. This however was Evagelyne, and while it was a new concept to her she was more than willing to accept it. The chaotic nature of his existence, a mix between almost polar opposites, life and death. Something about it was soothing to know. Without even thinking she spoke freely as if casting aside her cares.
“My mother would probably love to meet you. She enjoys speaking to people as interesting as you although there’s no way of reaching her now…”
She looked down at the plant wrapped firmly around her wrist and desired to thank him for the gift. It felt nice to be more open with a person like this although she was putting herself at considerable risk by doing so. Then again it wasn’t as if she was unused to taking risks and for this person she was more than willing. Something about him was just difficult to explain, but she knew he had to belong to her although maybe that wasn’t the best way to word it.
As he poured her another cup of tea she prepared herself to thank him and yet before she could speak he stated his own mind. He was far too polite and yet that only managed to make him even cuter to her! It wasn’t a sense of regal obedience like when she was dealing with her subordinates and followers. It felt more like someone who was nervously attempting to be present, much like she herself felt in this situation. As much as Eva wanted to have him perish the thought neither of them had the time to properly speak before an entirely new face arrived, or at least it was new to her.
This person looked dangerous, smelled dangerous, radiated danger and for the slightest moment Eva thought about going on the defensive if only to ensure her safety. Nothing about them made her want to be present or kind and yet she was certainly cute. The moment they called her newest neighbor ‘brother’ that conclusion only managed to make more sense. Apparently it was going to run in their family. Then again her reason for showing up only agitated the girl more than she had desired to be in that moment. How quickly she had managed to go from docile to hostile in attitude was impressive, lips pursed, frown lines showing, her eyes back to their normal look of disdain. The signature face she often sported at all times. A small part of her hadn't wanted Soivan to see her like this.
“I swear, sometimes I could go as far as to believe the ancients don’t understand the concept of peace at all. Then again they’ve been managing to fight over the same things for damn near a fucking eternity so I suppose that’s out of the question. It’s not even a war! Certainly Novevu could end it all within moments if he so desired, but the other houses wouldn’t let it go so far. If anything, some claimants will die and everything will just go back to normal as if nothing ever happened.”
The story of how Soivan finally built up the courage to fall in love and propose to the woman who holds his heart.

This is the mortal realm, remember here the humans rule. We are merely spectators to their race and the events that amuse them. Do not get involved whatever it is you do, for no one is to know that you of all people exist Soivan. Remember and you no harm will come to you; nor will the secret of your existence be found out about...
— Mama.
He tossed the ivory coloured slip of paper into one of his pitcher plants and watched as the acid within ate it up, before grumbling over not being fed proper food. Hushing it with a look and a promise of food later Soivan donned his most 'human' appearance and stepped out onto the chaotic streets of Bay City, Michigan. As for his siblings? Well they had chosen to skip out on this solo expedition to the realm. Earth, what a strange name for a realm. As he joined the crowds of humans on their way to work on this particularly wet and stormy Monday morning, he reminded himself to keep his steps measured and tried not to move too quickly.
There are supposedly less claimants here in America after an event caused by one of father's claimants... something about losing the love of their life and then using the Void to destroy parts of the country. It is a good thing that they were able to reverse the damage and create a proxy chunk of time to make up for the missing time... That should mean I fit in more right? Or maybe that'll mean I'll be far more isolated.
His usual attendants or rather his plants were currently disguised as a pair of rather inconspicuous siblings, he could see their true appearances. Both of them pitcher plants that were filled to the brim with life ending acid. As he crossed the streets with the rest of the pedestrians he spotted a rather small, could she be considered small? A woman nonetheless who was shouting at a human, a human who had already pissed his pants... how could one so small cause such fear?
He was going to approach and inquire when his plant companions tripped over the curb and caused one unfortunate human to be partially eaten alive by the spilt acid; to prevent a scene he turned around and quickly ordered for the plants to swallow them whole, not even a scream was heard... really the only thing that was noticed was one of the 'plant' companions burping real loud. He sighed. "Remind me not to bring pitcher plants next time. You lot make too much mess and there's too much risk with all of the acid to consider..." He continued on his walk around the city, sometimes stopping in the middle of streets to observe the architecture.
The choice to visit Bay City had been more of a: it's a small area close to the water, if anything happens at least you can hide in the water until someone comes to rescue you. Which was fair, one could never be too sure. He stepped into a cafe which had a queue near out the door with people waiting for their morning brew. Picking up one of their laminated menus, he examined it and decided he liked the sound of the Pear Toast. He had never had this 'pistachios' before, and surely if he wanted to fit in he had to eat right? As they finally made it to the front of the queue, the man at the counter couldn't help but stare. He was human, so it didn't really matter, but it did make Soivan just a little bit self conscious.
"Can I have the Pear Toast... with extra honey and um a White Chocolate flavoured Latte."
Handing over the card that his mother had explained was the human's version of currency, he stepped aside and waited amongst some of the more casually dressed locals and looked around, as he waited he could hear the man who had served him at the counter blush and point Soivan out amongst the crowd. Again, causing Soivan to blush – he was not at all used to the idea of someone noticing him, usually it was Ritunen or Vetani who got the attention, him? Ha. He was the quiet third child. As someone who he didn't quite see the face of, vacated their seat; he took a seat and crossed his legs at the ankles. His two companions were standing outside keeping guard. They must be talking about the plants... so much for fitting in.
He looked up, this could not be his apartment. He looked back down at the small plastic device called a phone and then took a deep breath, he had been given keys by his mother. As he unlocked the door and climbed the stairs – three flights, one very hungry plant and an otherwise bloated plant in tow. He was glad to finally reach this supposed apartment; it had high ceilings and was incredibly lofty – just as his mother had promised. Another Ivory slip of paper waited for him on the kitchen counter.
Welcome home. This was one of my favourite getaways before I met your father. The water is hot though you may have to hit the heater a few times to be sure. The floors are creaky and the neighbours are old. They often drop leftover off; they think that I don't eat enough based off my trash can contents. Fridge is stocked with the usual and don't be afraid to call me if there's any trouble.
There is also an Order claimant in the building but I am sure she won't care to come by, she lives directly below you and will on occasion scare the life out of the neighbours with her shouting matches, just drown her out with music... nature knows we all do. Stay safe and have fun! Oly will be over to pick you up in three days!
- Mama.
Suppose he could always rely on his mother being over protective and... well having everything set up for him. As he sat down on the old leather couch he could hear a door crashing shut down below and someone shouting rather crudely into what he presumed was a phone. "I see what she meant by loud... Oh well, there must be a reason for her to be so loud." He was going to do nothing about it until he heard what sounded like soft but fast footsteps storming up the single flight of stairs until as he looked over at the locked front door. Getting up, as though unfolding himself from a long period of no movement, he peeked through the door... it was the woman from before, the one who had caused a man to wet himself. "Do you need something?" He asked through the door, his nerves telling him perhaps he should have pretended to be out.

Soivan watched as this tiny thin boned woman spoke only to disappear around the corner then to return as though she hadn’t tried to retreat mere seconds ago, he had considered shutting the door and just ignoring whatever she had to say – but at the same time then he would just be like his older brother who didn’t give a flying finger to anyone or thing with a pulse. He chuckled under his breath when she introduced herself only of for her to turn beetroot red.
When she asked who he was, he considered lying about his name, after all he did not know this woman and he did not know if she was a threat to him or not… and yet he found himself unable to lie as he leant against the doorframe, thus blocking the view of his two giant plant companions who were drooling at the prospect of swallowing the female at the door whole. She did smell like a claimant though… what house was associated with Neroli?
“Soivan Desvoy. You might know my mother. Florita Fovey.”
He would have mentioned that his father was Novevu but he didn’t want the girl to have a heart attack at his doorstep. He stepped back into the apartment-loft and gestured for her to come in.
“I am new to the area. Come in, I will make some tea. Please try not to touch the two giant moving plants, they will swallow you alive in a vat of acid. Already did that to someone else.”
At that, the plant that had swallowed the human earlier made the sound that resembled a very drunk man emptying his guts after a toxic binge of suspiciously made moonshine, what came out with it were shreds of clothing, what looked to be earphone wires and their glasses. Soivan picked up each of the objects and disposed of them in the tin can labelled as ‘general waste’.
The two plant guards moved towards the wall and away from Evagelyne. Rinsing his hands quickly and wiping them on a dish cloth he went about looking for the tea bags, he knew his mother was an avid of drinker of two things: wine primarily because of their father and tea… lots of tea. Locating the cabinet he scanned each of the labels, some of them sounded rather generic and the others sounded absolutely foul.
“Mother really doesn’t mind drinking perfume.”
He uttered to himself. Finally settling on Kashmiri Kahn, something about the cinnamon, almonds and cardamon would hopefully calm the nerves and give him a chance to speak to a claimant from another house; he hadn’t really had any exposure to the other houses or what their claimants were like, seeing as for the most part he was ill in his youth years and now that he was out in the world pretending to be completely unattached from ancients and claimants alike.
“I guess you might be wondering if I’m lying. Seeing as there is no such thing as the house of Desvoy. We’re a best kept secret. If you do tell anyone, I am afraid you’ll meet your death at the hands of either one of my guards or by my siblings… and they tend to be a little more sadistic in their treatment.”
He watched as the kettle came to a boil before putting a bag of chai into their cups and slowly pouring the scolding hot liquid into the cups, opening the fridge which was surprisingly stocked with all that he would need for his time in the mortal realm, he offered Evagelyne milk and sugar. Once they were both seated at opposing ends of the couch, him sipping the chai and looking at her intently; waiting for her reaction.
He suppose she needed more time than needed and so by the time he was done with his second cup of chai, he flicked his wrist and despite there being no soil present a small Sarracenia rubra began to bloom in the cup, as it grow until it encompassed the entire cup he held; what appeared to be two small eyes emerged at the very top of the plant, it blinked at him adoringly before moving out of the cup and towards Eva of which the plant poked and prodded at the woman's thigh until using it's roots to climb up and around her waste, making sure not to spill any of it's internal contents onto the female. Soivan thought it was cute, that the plant had taken so quickly to wanting to protect Eva. Clicking his tongue the plant loosened itself just a bit and although Eva could not hear the sounds the plant was making Soivan looked at her.
"I believe my plant would like to stay on you. it doesn't need anything from you. it'll just cling to you and keep you safe from insects. The humans will presume you are just wearing a fancy bracelet."
That sounded weirder than he hoped, he hope that she would appreciate this sweet gesture – why it felt like he knew her from the past confused him to no end, and although he wanted to ask her more questions he felt it was only fair that now that he had told her what he was capable of that she be given the chance to ask questions, not that he would be offended by anything she could ask... after all he was not his brother who would have had his fungi eat her up for just being in his presence and he wasn't like Vetani who was all but in the business of poisoning people and observing the results.... he shook his head, had she said something and he had completely ignored it? He gave her an apologetic smile before gesturing to repeat her questions.
"I guess I'm here because I was sick of being with my mum all the time. She hopes I will take her place as the ancient of nature eventually... I'm a Sytagen, the birth child of two ancients. Florita is my mother as I stated... and Novevu is my father... I have two siblings and we all deal in the business of life and death, more so my older siblings than myself."
He hoped that his honestly would calm Eva enough to know that he was not a threat... when he thought about it he wondered if she knew of the famous Darkness Aikekunai Gahbreal but again he chose not to ask. After all wasn't Gahbreal someone to be feared rather than respected... he had never actually met any other Aikekunai but Gahbreal – he supposed this came out of a result of his parents wanting to keep the existence of himself and his siblings as much a secret as possible; after all they weren't; supposed to technically exist. He poured Eva another cup of the chai.
"I can only hope that I am not a nuisance to you?"
Before he could say another word, a portal emerged from the floor as his sister stepped out with a slightly frantic look. He stood up - nearly knocking the table over in the process. Vetani scanned her surroundings before her eyes settled back on her younger brother.
"Hello brother. Our father and our aunty Evyette are at war."
